All these while...

Nobody knows when you are sad, nobody knows when you are happy, nobody knows when you are alone, most importantly, nobody even wants to care about you. You live in the world where everything is realistic and selfish, perhaps no? It's my own problem which I have to deal with since small. I feel the ignorance from family, from friends all these while. All I have is to do is just by myself, get through it by myself. I have to say i am a timid girl, I don't share or talk to everyone like I am very sociable, I am just not this type of person. And I will never be. For now, I think I should just ignore the WHOLE WORLD, I don't have a meaning of life. I just don't. Crying the whole night doesn't help as well. Yes, I am typically emotional when there is time I have to be especially when I feel myself no longer what society needs, when I just can't fit in, where nobody wants...

HELLO?

*Flies all over my blog*

Have been seriously neglected my blog for sometimes, sorry, I am getting lazy in updating my blog. I just have no idea why sometimes. Probably because I've no idea what I shall update and is there still anyone that concern and read my blog post? Well, it is okay for me actually, I just simply want to update just to jot down something that happened on me while forgetting I am growing up day by day. I read back my posts when I am not really feeling happy or sometimes just to recall back what had I done for the past. It is all about memories that had been saved in my blog. I share everything good and bad to my readers, that's the only reason why I did not private my blog.

Anyway, time is really passing in twinkling of an eye. It is almost four months since I am here; this means I am about to done with my first semester. Three more weeks until finals, you kidding? I am not ready for it and I seriously couldn’t imagine that. What had I done for the past few months? all I did was chasing over time and studying for never-ending exams, quizzes and piles of assignments and homework. Without realizing it, I had survived and finger crossed I will do well in the upcoming finals. Promise myself, to come here and study not to waste money, so I hope everything goes smoothly to me.

For the previous days or I would say previous week, I fell sick. Even until today, I wasn’t fully recovered. Had a bad sore throat, cough and flu and few days of fever. Couldn’t bear with it and went for a doctor on last Friday in health center. So, after checking all over my body, it was being examined that there is infection on my throat. Therefore, the doctor gave me some medicines and permitted me to finish it by 10days. Poor me, I hate medicines! Hopefully I will recover as soon as possible because I still need my strength and energy to fight for my finals.

This week is fall break for thanksgiving in my university. So, that means it is holidays! But sadly, it is not really a holidays for me, cause you know, I still have so many things to be done and studied before my winter break hits me. Just came back from library after bio discussion with group mate and now I have to finish it as fast as I can before I can start with another research paper. Got to go now, and I will be update my blog probably after my trip to San Diego for this coming winter break! I can’t wait for it. Bye :)

The 20th.

Just a short update here since I am lacking of time. I have to study right after this update. Well, I am 20 now, like finally? First of all, I would like to take this golden opportunity to thank everyone back in Malaysia for all your sincere birthday wishes. I received all of your earnest and heartfelt wishes towards me, and I feel glad for sure. I feel so touched when there’s people who stayed up late just to wish me right at 12am doesn’t matter in Malaysia or US time. Words couldn’t describe how blessed I am to have you people by my side not physically but mentally giving me the support and love.

As for this 20th birthday, I could say it is so much different compared to previous years. I’m all by alone and miles away from family and all my treasured friends. Sometimes, I feel lonely because there is no one who I trust and able to share everything with, but I understand how everything goes by especially the time difference. When I am free, but people back home is sleeping, when people is free, my turn to hit the sack? How pathetic it is? I truly miss them a lot especially seeing their real face! I am pretty sure they are missing me too. Come; let bear with this circumstance together. I will be back soon, and definitely will meet up with you guys. Take care peeps! ♥ ♥

With loves,

Jie Ying.

I miss home.

Helloooo, I am here to make my blog stays alive since I am so lazy with homework right now. Well, university’s life has started for few weeks, and I am totally dead. I feel so stressed up with all the works given especially on the not familiar Biology. I screwed up everything, like serious. I don’t even understand a single thing she taught. I tried to stop her from teaching too fast, but still she teaches like a bullet train. Haihs. I don’t know how I am going to pass this subject, I feel like giving up, but I still have to face it later since it is mandatory for every student. It sucks and I really don’t like it. It makes me feel so depressed and emotional all the time. Whateverrrrr, I am going to triple up my effort and make it passes in one shot. I don’t wish to waste money to retake any subjects. So, I must hardcore for it. Screw you, Biology. As for two other subjects, Chinese is fine. The only subject that can booster up my confidence. Yes, I have a perfect start in my first quiz and definitely hope for a perfect ending next. Pray for it. For Critical thinking, nothing much I supposed, still adaptable. All in all, is if we study and understand, we will do well.

Till then, I am missing home terribly this few days. Perhaps is because I feel too stress and I need a space to chill. I need to be home, I need all the familiar faces that I always meet. It’s been one month plus since I left home, I think it’s more than enough to leave home and live alone in a different country that is miles apart from family. Sigh

Kay, I shall stop here and continue with some readings before heading back home.

Trip to Los Angeles, Las Veges and San Francisco

I promised to blog about my 11 days 8 nights trip to US in my previous post. So, here it goes:

Well, the first morning in Los Angeles was a blast. It was a full day at “ The Happiest Place on Earth”- Disneyland. There were so many activities to experience in this place where dreams come true for the young and old a like. Our One-Day ticket to the Magical Kingdom of Disneyland allowed us unlimited rides on all attraction and adventures. At there, we rubbed our shoulders with Mickey Mouse and friends, watched the colorful parades down Main Street USA to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the twinkling floats and etc.

Before we ended the first day of trip, we dropped by California Adventure as well. It is the latest additional to the Walt Disney Theme Park lineup; features miniature version of the best the state has to offer from Historic Landmarks to its rides, stores and restaurants.  The moment you step inside, you’ll feel yourself transported into a California postcard, with blue sparkling water, boardwalks, and mountain peaks on every side.

We didn't really spend much time here, as we were too tired after a long day and we still having jetlag by that time. So, we left there around 7pm and later we went for dinner at Joe’s Crab Shack! The crab served was really scrumptious and mouth watering! I would like to pay a visit again if I drop by LA next time.

On the following day, we proceed to Hollywood to visit the footprints at Mann’s Chinese Theatre and the Walk of Fame (星光大道).

On the same day as well, we visited the world’s largest and busiest studio- UNIVERSAL STUDIOS. On our narrated tram tour, we got to experience the secrets of Hollywood movie-making in the studio back-lots arte uncovered, be attacked by the shark from Jaws’ experience and earthquake, saw the spectacular stunt shows like ‘Waterworld’ and the breathtaking journey through Jurassic Park. The ride did captivate us.

Day 3, started off the day by transferred to Santa Monica Beach that is approximately three miles long located along Pacific Coast. At the same time, we drove pass Beverly Hill where the famous movie stars live.

Last day in Los Angeles, we travelled to Barstow Factory Outlet for some shopping. Here is the place where you can find unbelievable bargains for almost anything from branded goods, designer clothes, and perfumes to stainless steel cooking ware. Those goods really give the value for money! *shop until drop*

We onward our journey to the gambling and entertainment capital of the world-Las Vegas! It took us few hours of journey to reach there due to the massive traffic jam. At night, we took the night tour to explore the prosperity of nightlife in Las Vegas and enjoyed the well-known shows such as the Fremont Street Viva Vison and Fountain Show at Bellagio.

For your information, Las Vegas is also my first time experience to step in casino. To reach any place, you will definitely need to pass through casino. Awesome right?

The next day, we travelled to one of the seven natural wonders of the world- GRAND CANYON. The spectacular beauty of this famous attraction draws more than five million visitors a year around the globe. We visited to ‘Skywalk’, which is the new gigantic construction built on the very edge of the Grand Canyon West Rim. The Skywalk is suspended 4000 feet above the Colorado River. From the bridge, we stepped out onto the glass floor for a 720-degree view of Canyon. The scenery is absolutely perfect, breathtaking and picturesque. We also took the golden opportunity to take an optional helicopter and boat tour to view the true beauty of Grand Canyon. It was quite expensive, but it’s worth after all.

We ended the tiring day by enjoying Asia Buffet dinner. To be frank, Asia foods are still the best! I miss Malaysia foods very badly.

Last day in Las Vegas, it was also a free day. We went to Las Vegas Premium Outlets to pamper ourselves. A cheaper price will be offered to all customers for branded stuff, so what are you waiting for? Time to shop.

The next day, we departed Las Vegas by getting a domestic flight to San Francisco. Upon arrival, we proceed to the famous Golden Gate Bridge and continue to Sausalito to enjoy the bay views. Sausalito it’s home to some of the country’s wealthiest citizens. We then headed to Fisherman Wharf and Pier 39. Pier 39 is a shopping center and popular tourist attraction built on a pier in San Francisco, California. At Pier 39, there are shops, restaurants, a video arcade, street performances, an interpretive center for the Marine Mammal Center, the Aquarium of the Bay, virtual 3D rides, and views of California sea lions hauled out on docks on Pier 39's marina.

The last day of trip was all about San Francisco city tour that included the Bay Bridge, Civic Centre, and Lombard Street and ascends of the Twin Peaks for a panoramic view in San Francisco. On the same day, we do drop by Chinatown. San Francisco is a melting port of many races and one of the biggest Chinatown in America, where a labyrinth of exotic shops, renowned restaurant and temples. Before goodbye to everyone, we stopped by at Union Square. Here is a place to do some shopping and souvenirs.

Till then, I met up with Ying Yu, who was here to pick me up. I bid goodbye to everyone on bus, took my luggage and followed Ying Yu back to her house. That’s where my life in San Francisco began until today.

Now, I’m done with orientation week. I will be officially backed to my university life after a year of holidays. Finger crossed everything goes well and it’s time to study smart.

Till then.
