Year of Water Snake 2013.

HELLOOOOO! (:

*missing in action for a while*

For now, I should start blogging about my whole well-spent Water snake year with my loves one. They made my last Chinese new year (before leaving to states) a memorable and fabulous one.
We started off the Chinese New Year celebration from reunion dinner which dropped on 9th Feb. As tradition, we went to paternal grandma’s house early in the morning and maternal grandma’s house in the night. It becomes a must for every relative to meet up for reunion dinner just one day right before cny. I simply love this tradition because it is really nice to reunite together and have meals together. Catching up with everyone’s recent story can bring each other closer and closer. In between of having dinner, I actually told my grandma that, this probably will be my last reunion dinner before leaving, and what she said was yes, it is sad. And my uncle told me, we will skype with you next year and all I can do is just seeing them having fun and enjoying themselves. How sad it is? :( Definitely gonna miss this real much. After dinner, it’s time for the elders to give us red packets (angpao). Bid goodbye to them and we shall proceed to the next day, which is the first day of Chinese New Year.

First day of Chinese New Year is always the busiest day throughout the whole Chinese New Year. We’re having open house from morning until late evening. So, usually we will not go for any house-visiting on the first day. All we did was served people from morning until evening. This year, I made some distinction; I went to one my friend’s open house at night. I feel kind of guilty because every year she invites me, but due to tiredness, I never attend. As for this year, I promised to make it no matter how tiring I am by that time. It’s nice to see her parents after long time didn’t meet up. Feel even nicer when her parents both still can recognize me well :) That’s how my first day of Chinese New Year ends.

Second day, the day where we start our house visiting to relative's house. Nothing much because whole day was house visiting.

Third day continues with house visiting on the afternoon and night spent with the buddies at ShuPan's house.

Forth day was basically house-visiting to besties’ house. Went to SohYong, Feli, mine and ChinYing's house.

For fifth and sixth day, nothing much goes on; just daddy's friends came to my house.

As for seventh day, I went out the whole day with another bunch of friends. It's been a while since I last see them, indeed a great meet up with them ;)

Last station was grace's house and before biding goodbye to everyone, went to steamboat with two besties: grace and han :) Reached home around 9pm and that's basically the end of my chinese new year. Sunday is the day to rest and pack back all the chinese new year's mood and get ready to back to work. zzz

As for this week, working routine as usual except for Friday. I actually worked half day and went back to Taylor's to submit my documents. In the meanwhile, caught up with the coursemate for a while. Went to Pyramid with two friends to fulfill my crave of Popeye's foods! Hehehe #heaven
After late lunch, went to Sunway University to wait for Feli and then we took bus back to Malacca.

As for yesterday, bestie's hang out once again :) Hanged out with them is just heavenly great. Girls' talk all the time. Went for lunch with them and we actually did something different this time. We went to Klebang to play kite. HAHA! We sound cute? :P We enjoyed ourselves somehow. After that, headed for coconut shake and then is time to go back home.

Till then, Happy Chap Goh Mei to all Chinese. It's time to back to normal :)

Bye.
